Mutton (noun.) indicates meat from a sheep that is older of almost 3 years. Mutton is red and contains a considerable amount of fat. Its taste is very strong and Americans enjoys the meal of mutton. In the US, sheep is harvested for almost 3 years, to be used as flesh in food.

In Indian cuisine, goat meat is widely used to prepare mutton dishes. Mutton soups and the ones prepared in Ghee (clarified butter) and garam masala are recommended for severe debilitating health conditions.
